Scientific Name: Amyris balsamifera
Botany: The Amyris Sandalwood is a small evergreen tree belonging to the Rutaceae family, is a bushy tree that can grow up to 20 meters tall along with clusters of white flowers and compound leaves, it must be a minimum of 30 years old before being used to extract its essential oil, the blackish fruit that the Amyris tree creates it is eatable.
Origin and History: Native to Haiti, this particular tree is frequently known as the West Indies sandalwood tree, as its wood has a fragrance very similar to that of Indian sandalwood although more subtle, it is also known as candlewood and which, with its tendency to burn longer than other woods, has been frequently used as a beacon.

Therapeutic Properties: Antiseptic, antispasmodic, balsamic, emollient, expectorant, regenerating, sedative.
Therapeutic Uses: Cough, chest congestion, restlessness, stress, nervous tension, relaxing tonic, skin tonic.

How to Use:
- By Diffusion:5 to 10 drops in a diffuser of your preference.
- On the Skin: 2 drops of essential oil + 3 drops of vegetable oil.
- Oral Administration: Reserved for medical consultation.
